Mr Roland Martin I've been listening to you for such a long time I really have you help me through the pandemic and so many times when I really needed to know where I was at I've been in your corner from day one I've ordered things from you and I have listened to a lot of your people that you have online love Dr Carr I even bought your book as a matter of fact I bought it before it even came out through Amazon and I've read it and I have given it to other people to buy also so I'm definitely one of your fans but I have just one thing to say and it's not meant for negativity it's only meant because I really like you cuz I like what you doing as a black man I too am a black man I'm a little older and I live in Los Angeles I belong to the lbgt community but I'm not like a lot of the ones that are out now I'm kind of Loki but I just have to say one thing sir when I listen to you sometimes you say certain things that really bothered me and one of the things is when you talk about fraternities when I went to school I wasn't able to join the fraternity and the ones that were on campus we're really not nice guys and I just wasn't able to join it cuz I was struggling to go to school but you're constantly remind me of your Alpha and other fraternities and it kind of makes me feel a little I don't know it's hard to explain but I'm not one that was in a fraternity but I'm still a black man who's struggling just like everybody else and even though I wasn't in a fraternity man I still support you but I'm not in a fraternity I'm a struggling black older gay male also I listen to you today about something with someone made a comment about something you said they lied on and I agree with you but can I say one thing man and not meant and negativity I sometimes think brag a little too much and doesn't mean out of negativity is just like you know you already Buried buried somebody and you just pound them further in the ground and it kind of gets to be a little monotonous but trust me man I will still support you you're still one of my favorites definitely but I love me some Roland Martin
Thank you Mr. Brown for much love to you for your respectful comment. I am an older black woman that saw Greek organizations as an extention of black class division and separation. In college, I knew I could never be a sorority memeber, because although I was highly intelligent and gifted my family was poor and my parents were not married. It does hurt when your own "people" discriminate against you and use the social criteria of the dominant oppressor society to do it. Like you, I support and commend @RolandMartin for all of the great things he is accomplishing. However, I don't think Roland is even aware that as long as we "Black People" marginalize each other then white nationalist have nothing to fear and they will continue to maintain economic and political power.
Thank you I really appreciate your response because I really thought that I was the only person that felt that way but I'm so glad that there are others like me that also know what one has to go through just to get into an organization I really appreciate your concern thank you

Southwest Crossing is fighting Centerpoint because of the placement of an LNG facility in their backyard, which is environmental injustice. Notification from Centerpoint was crafted during the time when schools were holding graduations as well as the Memorial day holiday. This is a very interesting story needing more light shed on it. The placement of that plant is environmental injustice. The plant (Lantana Peak Shaving) holds 300,000 lbs of LNG and is located only 3 miles from another identical facility on Hiram Clark & Allum that holds 340,000 lbs. This community as well as the surrounding neighborhoods in Super Neighborhood 41 (which has 11 active subdivisions). They are taking it to Centerpoint. They were featured on KCOH (2/24) and Fox News Isaiah Factor (2/17). Visit their website at https://swcrossingoutreach.wixsite.com/houston for more detailed information. This is a story I hope that you'd cover. I did not mention the city because you have lived in Houston and know the areas I am referring too.
Because of the sustained long-term objective to portrait black people as the criminals and a danger to society by the local news (day-to-day) broadcasting predominant black criminals, leveraging the power of imagery, I enjoyed the RMU segment; "Crazy Ass White People." I wish RMU would bring it back. I understand the risk to attractive advertisers because of the title, but maybe RMU can drop the "* ads repellant *" words; "Crazy Ass White People." title and change it to Dangerous Circumstances." WITH day-to-day
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Uncle RoRo for providing an alternative on April 4, to the media circus that was the indictment of former President _ _ _ _ _.
Your exclusive programming and interviews with Civil Rights Icons like Xernona Clayton, live streaming from the MLK Memorial downtown, and expert analysis from professionals of color is your unique brand. To be honest, had you not reiterated that it was the 55th. Anniversary of Dr. King's death; it would have been completely forgotten in the press. It was wonderful to hear from my favorite (living) King: Dr. Bernice!
Copycats may try to mimic your voice; but good luck with that! To quote M.C. Hammer, "...Can't TOUCH this!" Thank you Man of God! Keep on keepin; ON! We need your voice in the earth.
