The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread — Mother Teresa.
Well, Trump and his butt kissing, psycho bunch of degenerates in the White House done it again by putting a freeze on funding according to USAID website this message:
On Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:59 pm (EST) all USAID direct hire personnel will be placed on administrative leave globally, with the exception of designated personnel responsible for mission-critical functions, core leadership and specially designated programs. Essential personnel expected to continue working will be informed by Agency leadership by Thursday, February 6, at 3:00pm (EST).
For USAID personnel currently posted outside the United States, the Agency, in coordination with missions and the Department of State, is currently preparing a plan, in accordance with all applicable requirements and laws, under which the Agency would arrange and pay for return travel to the United States within 30 days and provide for the termination of PSC and ISC contracts that are not determined to be essential. The Agency will consider case-by-case exceptions and return travel extensions based on personal or family hardship, mobility or safety concerns, or other reasons. For example, the Agency will consider exceptions based on the timing of dependents’ school term, personal or familial medical needs, pregnancy, and other reasons. Further guidance on how to request an exception will be forthcoming.
The dismantling of this government agency does jeopardize everything concerning the mission of feeding the world and being the catalyst for change in a world that is forever changing.
The Project 2025 game plan, a playbook handled by the MAGA crew so that they could screw up America with its so-called “Make America Great Again” mantra that flood our nation washed out in a sea of red and white. The ultimate plan now is to finishing dividing our nation further and further apart as Trump and loyal subjects continue to drink the Kool-Aid of bitterness, strife, and again more division among us.
In the meantime, the political wheels continue to turn while a felon, a liar, and a thief that sits in the White House signing Executive Orders like passing out poison pens to undo the justice that was set in place to right the wrongs of countless foolish decisions.
Recently on a podcast on Talkshoe, the host of this particular podcast swears up and down that USAID was a way to think that money that this governmental agency and agencies like them, with all attentive purposes to what is good was actually funded by ill-means by stuffing money by fat cats.
The real question is, where is the corruption in any of these agencies Trump claims?
How far will the Congress and Senate will allow this man cut and gut these and more agencies so to “Make America Great Again”?
The future of USAID (United States Agency for International Development) and other government agencies is currently uncertain. Recently, USAID has faced significant challenges, including a freeze on its operations and funding.
This has led to widespread impacts on international aid and development programs the Trump administration, with support from figures like Elon Musk, has been pushing to dismantle USAID, citing various criticisms. This has resulted in confusion and concern among employees and partner organizations. While some emergency aid waivers have been issued, many programs remain stalled, and the overall situation is still evolving other government agencies may also face changes depending on policy shifts and administrative decisions. It’s a complex and dynamic situation, and the outcomes will likely depend on ongoing political and legal developments.
USAID has faced several criticisms over the years, particularly from the Trump administration and its supporters. Here are some of the main points of contention:
Waste and Abuse: Critics argue that USAID has been involved in wasteful spending and mismanagement of funds. Specific projects have been highlighted as examples of inefficiency and lack of oversight.
Misalignment with Priorities: The Trump administration has claimed that USAID’s activities do not align with its foreign policy priorities. This has led to efforts to reduce the agency’s funding and operations.
Bureaucratic Inefficiency: There are concerns about the bureaucratic nature of USAID, which some believe hampers its effectiveness and responsiveness to global crises.
Lack of Accountability: Critics, including Elon Musk, have accused USAID of being unaccountable to taxpayers, funneling money into projects without sufficient oversight.
Political and Partisan Issues: The agency has often been a target of partisan debates, with differing views on its role and effectiveness in U.S. foreign aid and development efforts.
Several reforms have been proposed for USAID, particularly under the Trump administration. Here are some of the key changes being considered:
Integration with the State Department: One major proposal is to fold USAID into the State Department. This would centralize foreign aid efforts and potentially streamline operations.
Focus on Humanitarian Aid: There is a push to narrow USAID’s focus primarily to food aid and AIDS clinics, reducing its involvement in other areas.
Reduction of Programs: Programs related to human rights, diversity, equity, and inclusion may face significant cuts. This includes initiatives supporting LGBTQ rights and women’s rights.
Budget and Operational Changes: The agency’s budget and operational autonomy are under scrutiny, with potential reductions in funding and increased oversight.
Leadership Changes: Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been appointed as the acting director of USAID, indicating a shift in leadership and possibly in strategic direction.
These proposed reforms are part of a broader effort to align USAID’s activities with the current administration’s foreign policy priorities.
And so, this dismantling of something good has turned into a freaking Frankenstein’s monster.
